\\ CORONAVIRUS

We hope that the situation will be resolved soon. If it is necessary, the festival dates will be rescheduled, that will be announced on the site no later than a month before the expected start of the festival.

\\ TRAVEL AND STAY COSTS

The festival does not pay participants travel and stay expenses.

The participants will be provided optimal accommodation conditions upon their request. 

They can also count on all the discounts provided by the partners of the festival.

 

\\ WINNERS IN NOMINATIONS OF FEATURE SHORT AND DOCUMENTARY FILMS

The best short and best documentary films are determined at the festival. The winners in the nominations - "Best Director", "Best DOP", "Best Script" and "Best Music" are determined in the general competition - that is, for example, the best DOP can be the DOP of both the short film and the documentary.

 

The nominations "Best Production Designer" and acting nominations - apply only to short films.

 

The Grand Prix of the festival, as well as the special prizes of partners, can be obtained both from short films or documentaries.

\\PLEASURES

The festival will host live music concerts for guests and participants.

The participants will go to Sevastopol and its picturesque surroundings excursion .

\\ MOVIE REPRESENTATIVES

A representative’s arrival is desirable - after watching each film, there will be a discussion with the public and the interviews for press and TV.

 

Prizes will be awarded at the closing ceremony - to the winner or to representatives of the film.

 

 

\\ ABOUT THE CONCEPT OF THE FESTIVAL

The festival's slogan is "On the wave of emotions!". It reflects the concept - the movie should evoke the emotions of the viewer. The festival prefers films that catch and make us laugh, cry, deeply empathize. These are the films with a strong interesting story.

It is worth noting that violence for the sake of violence and vulgar naturalism do not fit into the festival concept.

 

 

\\ PRIZES OF SPONSOR PARTNERS

Partners of the festival establish award prizes related to the competition nominations, as well as additional special prizes at their discretion.

 

 

\\ PRIZE "INTRIGUE"

This prize is determined by secret ballot among the actual participants of the festival. All participants in the contest vote for the best film in their opinion, but cannot vote for their own.

 

 

\\ PRIZE "SILVER SCAD"

The original statuette "Silver SCAD" created by famous Russian sculptor Mr. Vadim Kirillov is awarded to the winner in each of the 15 official nominations.

 

 

\\ TIME FOR CREATION OF MOVIES

Giving preference to new films, the festival does not limit the time of creation and can select any application that strongly reflects the concept: "On a wave of emotions!"
